What we found (Back to top)

Part of the ‘one-in, one-out’ removal operations that commenced in 2025, this flight was transporting detainees of many nationalities, most of whom had recently arrived in the UK and spoke many different languages.

Points to note: Learning from previous removals operations was evident in the good staff briefing, which stressed the high standards expected, and the mostly respectful and friendly treatment of detainees.
